At Sunyu, we believe that ethical and economic values are interdependent and that the business community must always strive to operate within the accepted norms established by national and international authorities. Sunyu expects all its employees to uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior and integrity:

Integrity
Sunyu operates in a professional, independent and impartial manner in all its activities. Sunyu carries out its work honestly and does not tolerate any deviation from its approved methods and procedures.

All Sunyu employees have to conform to the laws and regulations of the countries in which they operate and must fulfill their obligations in a reliable manner. High business ethics and integrity ensure our credibility.

Confidentiality
Sunyu gives utmost importance to protecting the privacy of customers, employees and other associated individuals and companies and the confidentiality of their information.

We protect confidential information regarding the activities of our clients, including information that might lead to a competitive disadvantage of clients, trade secrets, financial and other information that has not been publicly disclosed, employee personal information, and information within the framework of "confidentiality agreements" enacted with clients. We use this information only for the purposes of service provision, and share this information only with relevant authorized parties.

Conflict of Interest
Sunyu takes responsibility to avoid situations and relationships that involve conflict of interest. We avoid conflicts of interest with any related entity in which it has a financial or commercial interest and to which it is required to provide services.

To date, Sunyu has employed over 300 translators and several patent agents, more than 70% of whom have earned a Master's degree or above. Before joining Sunyu, most of our translators have already acquired solid technical backgrounds and extensive field experience.

Sunyu has been engaged in patent-related services for more than ten years. We specialize in particular in the multilingual translation of PCT documents. On average, we are able to handle the translation of over 10，000 PCT and OA cases every year. Over the years, we have translated more than 1.2 billion words.

Sunyu is committed to achieving complete document security by adhering to strict confidentiality policies.

Sunyu has developed its own Information Management System, CAT Software as well as Patent Database, in order to facilitate the interaction between departments, improve the productivity of existing office procedures, and guarantee the confidentiality of all information received from our clients.

At Sunyu, quality control is an important aspect of the entire work process. We have established a clear and systematic SOP composed of several steps to ensure the successful implementation of our QC procedures.
