The 12th EU-China Summit was held in Nanjing on November 30th. As a political dialogue between the highest leaders from Europe and China, the summit plays a leading role in strengthening EU-China relations. Mr. Gregory Torfs, Vice President of Business Development for Tedopres International, attended the summit as a member of the EU Delegation.

Showing a great interest in our services, Mr. Torfs paid a visit to Sunyu on December 2nd. He explained that Tedopres International has formed long-term partnerships with Boeing, Airbus and many other Fortune 500 companies around the world to provide technical and patent documentation services. The purpose of his visit was to seek a reliable partner in China for Tedopres International.

Shan Jie, Vice General Manager of Sunyu, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Torfs and showed him around the company. In particular, Mr. Torfs was impressed by the historical relics in Sunyu's possession. During the meeting, each party introduced their own company and outlined their company history, services and products, and workflow. After a short discussion, both parties identified several opportunities for future cooperation. Shan Jie expressed his interest in Tedopres's controlled language and Simplified Technical English (STE) technologies. Mr. Torfs was fascinated with Sunyu's translation tools, business model and multilingual intellectual property services. 

At the end of the meeting, both parties extended their wishes to cooperate in the future and complement one another in an effort to reach a more global audience.
