On January 15, 2010, Li Weimin, Director of Technical Services for the Bureau of Foreign Trade, hosted a service outsourcing forum for key enterprises in Nanjing. Relevant leaders from 13 of Nanjing's key service outsourcing enterprises, including the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Foxconn Software Technology Co., Ltd., Huawei Software Technology Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Sunyu Information Technology Co., Ltd. were in attendance.
Tao Wang, Assistant Director of the Bureau of Foreign Trade, presented a report on service outsourcing and the declaration and allocation of support funding in 2009. Through the tireless efforts of service outsourcing enterprises and the care and support of high-level leaders and authorities, Nanjing, one of "China's Base Cities for Service Outsourcing" has made full use of its unique resources in areas such as talent, science, and education, thereby bringing its service outsourcing work to a new stage, and providing new platforms and opportunities for the healthy and rapid development of the city's economy and society.
At the forum, participating enterprises discussed service outsourcing policies and Government work proposals from all levels, offered advice and suggestions, and exchanged their experiences with undertaking onshore business, especially with regards to the three major domestic telecom operators. Shan Jie, Vice General Manager of Sunyu, indicated that Jiangsu Sunyu, a KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) model enterprise, will actively assist the government in researching the KPO industry, and offer advice on the publication of relevant policies. Sunyu strives to promote the rise of Nanjing's KPO industry and will help contribute to the development of the high-end service outsourcing industry. |
