On July 15, 2010, a delegation headed by Mr. Chengdong Yin, the former Deputy Director of Compilation and Translation Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, paid a visit to Jiangsu Sunyu Information Technology Co., Ltd.
Mr. Yin's special visit to Sunyu constitutes a major part of his a preliminary research on an upcoming seminar, which is scheduled to be held in Nanjing in honor of the 10th Anniversary of Chinese Translation Industry - Seminar of "Stepping-Out Strategy for Chinese Culture Industry". Mr. Jie Shan, the Deputy General Manager of Sunyu, extended a warm welcome to the guests and showed them around the company. In the meeting that ensued, Mr. Jie Shan introduced the history, services, and corporate strategy of Sunyu.
Mr. Yin commended Sunyu's unique corporate strategy, and commented that Sunyu successfully established its own corporate culture by combining Chinese traditional culture with modern enterprise management, and has become a model enterprise that implements "Stepping-Out Strategy" with Chinese characteristics. Mr. Yin also concluded that two key factors are contributing to Sunyu's quick advance: full time in-house translators and quality-oriented business concept. Mr. Yin especially pointed out that translation itself is some type of interaction and integration between different cultures. Sunyu has set up a new development mode for translation and intellectual property-related industry. He believed that Sunyu's experience gives a clear answer to the topic of "Stepping-Out Strategy for Chinese Culture Industry" and will definitely promote the whole Chinese translation industry to a higher level.
